The first 2 episodes have aired for Star Trek: Fleet Academy which has been poory received on IMDB, however Rotten Tomatoes currently has it listed as 87%. I watched the first 2 episodes and enjoyed it.

Brief Review
Launching any new series is going to have a lot thrown at you. Fleet Academy introduces you to a lot of new characters (14 by my count). Caleb is the first character the series focuses on when his mother (Anisha) is imprisoned by Judge Nahla Ake. Her crime is stealing food for her Caleb to survive.
Fifteen years after a scandalous trial forced her into resignation, Nahla Ake is offered redemption. The command of the new Starfleet Academy. Her first task is finding Caleb, the boy she once failed. Who has since traded his future for a life of crime. To bring him in, Nahla offers the one thing he’s been killing for—the truth about his mother. She reveals that Anisha is no longer a prisoner, having escaped a colony a year prior, and promises to help him find her if he trades his blaster for a uniform.
